Such a sad day for Dave to learn that a person who I respected so much has left us....

So, so many great memories with "Clar" (Claire), who we (members of the Evangel Colloege Handbell Choir - 1990-1994) affectionately called her because of her clarinet-inspired personalized license plate (i.e. - "Clar"). What fun times...I think I laughed more with that bunch than any other time in my life, which, of course, caused so many unproductive distractions during our handbell rehearsals.
However, patiently and impatiently she dealt with our innocent antics - and I know, even though sometimes frustrated, I believe she sincerely appreciated our fun times...our silliness...

I will miss her cake s
...ugar cookies with the white icing and sprinkles and most of all, her "Clar" bars (really just a little bag of candies she always bought for us).

Our times with "Clar" in handbells were probably the most memorable times of my educational career at Evangel and beyond...I have lifelong friends...no matter how long we have been apart and its all because of the experience we shared with our "Clar" (Mrs. McLellan)...

I wish I could be there to attend the celebration for her life, her service to God, and her homecoming.

May her busy little self Rest in Eternal Peace with Jesus...in my mind, she deserves it more than most.

I was in several years of graded choir with Beth as our director at Central Assembly. She was gracious, thoughtful, and inspiring. Many times I find myself going back to the songs and lessons she taught us. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
