Grandma, you were special, kind, and a wonderful grandmother to all of us. I talk about it often and I will miss your homemade applesauce. You always acted like it was no big deal but I have never had better, and I never will again. Forever loved and always in our hearts, you left us with lasting memories. In those memories you will live on inside all of us.........

Grandma-
Oh how I love and miss you. I wish I would have had one more time to see you and bring Shane with me to meet you. But I know you were there sitting front row when we got married. 💜 Having sleep overs at your house are still some of my favorite memories. Making yellow cake with chocolate frosting (still my absolute favorite cake because of you) but using your secret ingredient of applesauce instead because it makes it more moist. You always had a stock pile of Fresca, Life Savers mints, and Butter Rum flavored Nips (which are also still my favorite candy). You let me stay up late and watch The Adventures of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olson on VHS, which you would buy just for me; non of
... your grandsons would want to watch that! You never missed a birthday, even when we moved back to Iowa and you were in Washington. And you never showed up empty handed. There was always homemade pie, cake, or brownies with you. Thank you for setting the standard of grandmas. I promise I’ll learn & know the noodle recipe by heart.

I love you

If flowers grow in heaven, lord please pick a bunch and place them in my grandmothers arms
and tell her they’re from all of us.
Tell her how much we all love and miss her
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for awhile.
Grandma not a day goes by without us thinking of you and all the memories we shared together, we love and miss you, but also smile knowing that you are looking over us all now from above. Until we meet again remember that your memory lives on in us all and we love you dearly. Rest In Peace Grandma.

Grandma,
We miss you everyday. I will always cherish the memories that were made with you. The sleep overs at your house in Vancouver and our walks to the school to play. You and I eating almost an entire watermelon between the two of us. And my love for yellow cake and chocolate frosting was discovered with you. I know that you are resting easy now and are reunited with your loved ones in heaven, and will be checking in on us from time to time. For now we will have a piece of yellow cake with chocolate frosting in your memory and know that the secret family noodle recipe lives on in your honor.

God willing, we will see you on the other side.

Love Alex and Meagan!
