Wayne spent alot of time with my family from the time I was a young girl. Even after my dad moved, I would visit with him, sometimes with my mom, and no matter what he wpuld always have something humorous to say. I always told him he was like my second dad and will cherish those memories close to my heart. I have some pivtures of him at our place when we lived at the farm. I visited with Wayne, Caroline and Gene at the Serenity House. and althpugh it was the last time here, I will see him again someday. Fly high Wayno!

Wayne and I lived next door to each other in Deep River, when we were infants. Later on, we became good friends in Jr. High and High School in Grinnell. No matter how far we traveled or how many years passed between seeing each other, we always remained best friends. I always made it a point to go visit him when I came back to Iowa every summer. I'm sure going to miss talking about the old days with him. Godspeed Wayne.

I had the honor of taking care of Wayne through home health and I'd always look forward to our visits. His sense of humor always brought a smile to not only my face but heart as well. So sorry for your loss.
