David Rouw Obituary

David Rouw, 70 died September 4, 2024 at the Keokuk County Health Center in Sigourney. He was born June 4, 1954 to Cornelius and Aldeda Jean Axmear Rouw in Orange County, California at the age of 9 his father passes away. His mother moved back to Oskaloosa, Iowa. David exceeded in sports during high school years graduating from Oskaloosa High School in 1973. He worked construction with his Uncle Dick Axmears crew and later became a crane operator for Wally Moore at Iowa Culvert Builders. During his construction work he met Sue Veeman from Southeast, Iowa they were married September 20, 1980 at the Delta Christian Church in Delta. David enjoyed collecting arrow heads, the outdoors, playing golf and riding his Harley Davidson. He was a very talented craftsman with woodworking and making knives.

He is survived by his wife Sue of Delta, daughter Ashley (Jared) Diers of Lake Keomah, three grandchildren Sophia and Angel Diers, Zander Orellana , brothers Dewayne (Jill) Rouw of Tucson, Arizona, Calvin (Faye) of Menifee, California, sister Colleen (Craig) Winters, Florida, many nieces, nephews and cousins

He was preceded in death by his parents, nephew Jacob winters, aunts Cora Kuiper, Jo Ann Septer are a few ad many uncles.
