Spring Hill, Florida - John Edward Kerr, 79, passed away on June 27th at his home in Spring Hill, FL.

Born in Oskaloosa, IA on February 21st, 1946, he was the son of Jack Kerr and Murel Flanders. He attended Twin Cedars High School. On March 26th, 1965 he was united in marriage to Judy Anderson and they shared 60 years together. Over the years he worked different jobs but the last 40 years of his career he worked as a maintenance supervisor.

He was a member of The Church of Acts in St. Paul, MN. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and always loved to be on the water. He will be remembered for his strength and his ability to put a smile on everyone's face.

He is survived by his wife Judy and three children: John Jr of Grimes, IA, Brad of Hernando Beach, FL, and Jason of St. Paul, MN, as well as eighteen grandchildren, and twenty great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two children: his daughter Malisa and son Joshua, both of St. Paul, MN.

A celebration of life will be held at The Church of Acts in St. Paul, MN on July 16th at 7:00pm. A second celebration of life will be held on August 2nd at 3:00pm in Spring Hill, FL.
